With the Fourth of July weekend approaching, a reminder to Langdon Lake homeowners that fireworks of any kind are not allowed at any location on Langdon Lake property. The Association instituted a policy on March 5, 2007, which states, "A fine of $500.00 will be assessed to any homeowner or guest caught using fireworks of any kind on homesite property, common areas, reserved areas or over the Lake at any time." This is for the protection of homeowners as well as Langdon Lake property and the surrounding forest.

Langdon Lake property is surrounded by the Umatilla National Forest and is regulated by the Oregon Department of Forestry. As noted below in the Oregon Department of Forestry Regulated Closure #1, fireworks are not allowed on lands protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry.
