June 18th is Father's Day. Happy Father's Day

A Father carries pictures where his money used to be.

The lake will be receiving its annual mosquito treatment on Thursday evening June 29th. Please stay off the lake as the helicopter makes its rounds. You can contact me directly with any questions;

Get the lures and fishing poles ready. I just received word that our annual fish stocking will take place on Thursday June 15th. If you have never watched this in action, it is worth bringing the kids up to see. There will be an assortment of regular sized fish and even a few big ones too. They can be caught on spinners, power bait, or worms. Good luck!

As of the above date, all roads around the lake are now passable. There is still some residual snow in the shadows. Also, a few of the side roads leading off the main road have snow, but for the most part, each member should be able to access their cabin easily.

Call if you have any questions.

As of May 1st we are still sitting on 2.5-3 feet of snow. A little less in the tree wells and a little more in the shady areas. I would estimate that most cabins might be accessible with wheeled vehicles by the 3rd or 4th week of May. Multiple warm days in a row will make all the difference.

Although there is ice on the lake, it is NOT safe to walk on or ride snowmobiles. Feel free to call me for more updated information as the Spring thaw progresses.

HEAVY SNOW 3/09/2017
The lake cabins have received a lot of snow in the past 3 weeks....anywhere from 3-4 feet. This is normally not an issue, but when you add rain to the mix, it can make the snow quite heavy. So far, I have seen 2 cabin decks damaged due to heavy snow load and rain. A few cabin roofs and decks have been shoveled off to help with this problem. Most of the work being done is through "George" at Mile marker 12 on Weston Hwy. He can be reached at 541-969-5213. If you have any questions regarding your cabin's snow load, feel free to give me a call. I would be happy to go take a look and tell you what I see over the phone.
