Welcome to the Langdon Lake Association website.  The Association is a private homeowners association situated on the shores of Langdon Lake.  Langdon Lake is a reservoir located in the Umatilla National Forest in Northeastern Oregon in the small community of Tollgate.  It is the impoundment of Morning Creek and the source of Lookingglass Creek.  Tollgate is an unincorporated community in an area first homesteaded by David Woodward.  A road between Milton, Oregon and Summerville, Oregon crossed Woodward’s property.  He installed a toll gate across a portion of the road and charged travelers a fee for access through the gate.  Umatilla County created a new route in 1922 that bypassed Woodward’s land, which later became Highway 204, and still runs by Langdon Lake.
